Instead I process and handspin my Angora goat and llamas, which have greaseless, fine, soft fleece.
Llamas are great! Gentle, friendly, beautiful, funny, and awesome protectors. I've watched them chase and attack a stray dog that broke into our paddocks. That dog was squealing in terror!

~LisaLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8762403858119140047.post-30641846672347922032010-08-06T14:46:51.227-06:002010-08-06T14:46:51.227-06:00That is interesting that the two flocks behave so ...That is interesting that the two flocks behave so differently. It has to be a breed thing, or at least I'd assume so. My in-laws ran sheep up to about a year ago or so. They used a couple of Pyranese. Always thought it was so neat how dedicated those dogs were to their sheep. And pretty effective too.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17294229154600798483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8762403858119140047.post-61592725624015189272010-08-05T12:37:02.935-06:002010-08-05T12:37:02.935-06:00Interesting how they are so different. I love the composition of the first photo.Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15454110560303310751noreply@blogger.com
