Local institution

The Shamrock Club in Wibaux, Montana is known far and wide for its food. Wibaux is a small rural community in far eastern Montana whose main street is Montana Highway 7. The "Sham" is located on this main drag. Locally owned and operated, it is a place customers know they will get a great meal that won't break them. Steak, huge jumbo shrimp, ribs, prime rib, and hamburgers are all served here. The bread is homemade as is the soup and any dessert they might offer.

The Shamrock's reputation for its food and atmostphere brings not just area people, but people who have heard about it and stop here in their travels. During the summer the clientel inlcudes, rodeo cowboys, bikers, tourists. Fall brings hunters both in state and out of state. Year round some other pretty colorful people pass thru too. Regardless of the time of the year, local ranchers, farmers, the courthouse crowd, and other area locals are regulars. We celebrate birthdays and anniversaries at the Shamrock, the Red Hat Ladies meet there. During the Fourth of July/class reunion time EVERYONE passes thru the Sham at some point!
The interior is unique, filled with old guns and spurs and rodeo photos. The ceiling is covered with painted  local and area businesses and  cattle brands.  The building is old and has been a bar, restaruant and even a store way back when.
The owners and their family are great supporters of the community 4-H clubs, ambulance service, fair, rodeo, ropings and many other activities.
