Taken from I-94, these photos give a glimpse of Painted Canyon in Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota. There had been a heavy fog earlier in the day, and some of the trees, sage brush and fence still had a coating of frost. The snow is still very deep on this first day of March in the badlands.
