Life is good on the Johnson Ranch! Spring is almost here!!

The snow is melting and the cows are getting closer to calving. Those big bellies are not just from all of the good feed they got this winter!

She's kind of got the "pregnant waddle" thing going, doesn't she?

Thanks to a good hay crop last summer, we had really nice hay
and lots of it to feed. Even for such a tough winter, we should have some
carry over for next year!

And more good hay this year, for all the moisture we got!

I can totally relate to the waddling thing; I have been wracked with so much Forestry paperwork that I got to remember that those oreo cookies got to go somewhere when im sitting for long periods lol...
