Boyd has a "hard eye", meaning he can put too much pressure on whatever livestock he is working. In doing this, the cow or sheep will not move, they just freeze sometimes. Even though he does have a hard eye, he is a great partner to work cattle with and I depend on him to help me get things done. My other border collie, Miles, works in a more relaxed manor. Surprisingly, he and Boyd work well together.

Nice shot :)
He looks like a softie to me, but I do not work cattle, so I wouldn't know. He's cute!
