The trip to Papa's Pumpkin Patch 2010

Our whole family spent a beautiful fall day at Papa's Pumkin Patch, located in Bismarck, ND.
There were lots of things to do and see. The best part of the whole thing was watching our grandkids
as they wandered thru the straw bale tunnels, climbed on straw forts, picked out pumpkins and rode
the train. It was actually greared more for younger kids like Owen, than it was for Haley's age group.
Owen thought it was pretty cool to haul his pumpkins in a wagon!

Connor is still a little hard to get posed for photos. He is more round bottomed than the pumpkins!

Haley will always pose!

There were pumpkins of all colors and sizes along with Indian Corn and colorful gourds.

Haley couldn't wait to try out the zipline!

Of course we had to take the hay ride behind the team of big Belgians. It was
a pretty ride thru the fields of Papa's Pumpkin Patch.

Haley and Owen just plain had fun climbing
on all of those big straw bales!

Owen was not ready to go. His dad, Rory, had to
pick him up to head him the right way!

A great family outing! Looks like the TV show Little People influenced Papas Pumpkin Patch.

what a wonderful trip! That place looks like a delight for grownups and kids alike. Your grandkids are beautiful! I bet you had a blast being there with them!

Looks like you had a fun day. We love the pumpkin patch, ours has a walnut canon that uses compressed air and shoots walnuts at pumpkins set up on hay bales in a field. If you hit a pumpkin you get a free pumpkin. The boys spend more money on that than we do buying pumpkins, mums, and gourds!
