Sunrise before the storm

We are forecast to have two major storms pass thru western North Dakota in the next three days. This was our sunrise this morning, December 29. This was about all of the sun we saw today. The snow started about 1:30pm this afternoon along with the wind and colder temps. So far we haven't gotten more than an inch or two out of this first storm but the one arriving tomorrow night is supposed to be the bad one. We are all hoping it misses us. Our oldest son lives, 120 miles north of us and they have gotten about two and a half feet of snow there this month, setting a new December snowfall record. They are due for more from theses storms too.

Beautiful sunrise! We have very little snow, but last year, we had the worse snow we have ever had in eastern NE.
