Peeks of branding, unedited and more to come

Two of our four worn-out dogs at the tail end of our branding, Miles and Hope. Not only were they tired, they were full. They ate their share of branding goodies, oysters fresh off of the bull calves!
Bet you can't tell what breed of cattle we raise but he color of the calves, can you?

Love the shot of the dogs. We have mostly black baldies, but we have a big, horned Hereford bull. I love the calves, the bottle calf we had earlier doesn't take a bottle anymore, but when I was out in the field Sunday afternoon he came up, sniffed me, realized I didn't have a bottle, and wandered off.
